Article: World Food Program's Food Aid Arrives in DPRK

The World Food Program's (WFP) first consignments of food aid have arrived in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to be distributed to some 1.5 million people in the flood-stricken country.

The U.S. cargo ship, the MV Tampa Bay, carrying 13,000 tons of rice, corn meal and corn soya blend from the United States, arrived on Tuesday and is presently unloading in the Nampo harbor, the WFP said in a press release today.
