Article: Shanghai to Hold Second International Fashion Festival

Shanghai will stage China's second international fashion festival in September, the festival organizing committee announced today.

Featuring top designs from China and the world's top clothing design cities, the event is expected to attract hundreds of people from the fashion trade.

It is also expected to be a window for China's emergence as a new fashion center.

Sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Government and China Textile Association, the 10-day festival is expected to attract over 600 Chinese and overseas companies.

The fashion fair at the festival will be staged in a 15,000 square meter center, double the show area of the previous fair.
