Chinese President Jiang Zemin concluded his three-day state visit to the Philippines and left here this morning for New Delhi to continue his Asian trip.

During his visit here, Jiang and Philippine President Fidel Ramos discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries. Jiang also met Philippine congressional leaders and other officials.

Before his state visit, Jiang Zemin attended the informal leadership conference of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in Subic, 80 kilometers north of Manila, on November 25. At the meeting, he delivered a speech on economic ...
