Article: Qatari Minister Vows To Pursue Peace in Mideast

Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Ben Jassim Bin Al-Thani said here today that his country will continue to pursue peace and prosperity despite the stalled Middle East peace process.

At the opening session of the third Middle East and North Africa (MENA) economic conference, the Qatari minister said his country has sent a large delegation to the conference to show "a spirit of optimism" towards a just peace in the region.
