Article: Six Soldiers Killed in Clashes in Northern Cambodia

Six soldiers of the government troops were killed and seven others were injured in two separate ambushes by the Khmer Rouge last week in northwestern Cambodia, a local daily reported today.

The English-language Cambodia Daily quoted Undersecretary of State Sieng Lapresse as saying that Khmer Rouge ambushed patrols of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) in two places in Siem Reap province's Chong Kal district, some 70 kilometers northwest of the Angkor temple.
