Article: Shriver Ends 19-year Singles Career with Loses

Tennis veteran Pam Shriver ended his 19-year singles career Friday when he lost to fourth-seeded Lisa Raymond with a 5-7, 6-7 (1-7) quarterfinal match in the IGA Tennis Classic in Oklahoma City, the United States.

But the 34-year-old Shriver said she was very pleased to end her singles career with her first quarterfinal appearance since 1994. She has captured 22 Grand Slam doubles titles in her career.
