Chinese Trade Union Staff Mourn Deng

Trade union members throughout the country said that Deng Xiaoping was a man who was always concerned with workers and the issues that affect their lives.

Workers throughout China have expressed their sorrow in the days following Deng's death in Beijing on Wednesday. Many said that the 93-year-old Deng's famous philosophy of relying wholeheartedly on the working class must be observed.
