Canadian Voter Turnout Lower Than 1993

Canadian voter turnout in Monday's general election was lower than that of 1993 and well below the average over the last dozen elections, said reports today.

Some 67 percent of eligible voters cast their ballots Monday, down from 69.9 percent in the 1993 election.
