The Zambian government will not wholly privatize the water sector
but instead enter into partnership with the private sector, a
government official has said.
Times of Zambia today quoted Energy and Water Development Deputy
Permanent Secretary Sylvester Hibajene as saying here on Tuesday
that
the government has realized that 100 percent privatization is not
the
ideal solution for Zambia.
