Article: Judicial Service Commission Bill Tabled at Provisional Legislature

The Judicial Service Commission (Amendment) Bill 1997 was tabled here today at the Provisional Legislative Council (PLC) for scrutiny.

Moved by the Chief Executive's Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), the bill passed the first and second readings at the 10th plenary meeting of the PLC here in Shenzhen, the southern China city bordering Hong Kong.
