Article: French Finance Minister: Euro Must Start on Time

French Finance Minister Dominique Strauss-Kahn today warned that a delay in starting the single European currency, the Euro, would mean the end of the project.

In an interview with Germany's Deutschlandfunk radio today, Strauss-Kahn said, "It must come on January 1, 1999. A delay would be the end of the Euro."
