Article: China Strictly Forbids Tourism at Public Expense

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Ministry of Supervision have jointly issued a circular demanding that leading cadres at all levels strictly forbid tourism at public expense.

The circular called on leading personnel to take the lead in carrying out the relevant rules drawn up by the CPC Central Committee.

It stressed that serious abuses in this regard which cause a bad public impression will be severely dealt with.
