Article: Vietnamese Government Takes Care of Blind People: Officials

The Vietnamese government has always attached great importance to helping blind people in the country, senior Vietnamese officials told a regional meeting on the blind which ended here today.

Speaking at the two-day regional meeting of the World Blind Union (WBU), Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Minister Tran Dinh Hoan said "Vietnam Blind Association (VBA) will get more experience in expanding the association's activities, taking care of the blind, and helping to rehabilitate them and improving their education."
