Article: Vitamin Supplements Better Children's Growth

Nutrition experts from the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine suggested yesterday that proper multi-vitamin supplements may help children develop better.

The academy presented the results of its research tuesday in Beijing at a national experts meeting to discuss the relationship between vitamins and children's development, according to today's China Daily.

More than 100 experts attended the meeting and voiced their concern over child nutrition, the paper said. The experts reached their conclusion after studying 10,000 children aged four to nine in Beijing, 7,000 from the urban area and the rest from three counties in Pinggu, Huairou and Shunyi districts.
