Article: Voters Go to Polls in Malaysia's Sabah State Election

Polling for Malaysia's Sabah state election got underway Friday with 64 polling stations in six of 48 constituencies in the state open on the first day of the two-day polls, according to reports reaching here from Sabah's capital Kota Kinabalu.

A total of 13,540 voters out of the state's electorate of 726,690 are eligible to cast their votes Friday, according to an Election Commission spokesman.
