China's apple juice export sector is expected to be brought under
better control as the result of a self-regulatory agreement
concluded
by the country's major exporters.
In a meeting held recently by the China Chamber of Commerce for
Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Products and Animal By-
products, major apple juice exporters agreed minimum export prices
for various apple juice products, the "Business Weekly" reported on
Sunday.
All apple juice exporters will have to raise their prices above
the agreed minimums or face sanctions from the Chamber of Commerce.
