Article: Heilongjiang Modernizes State Farms

Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province will upgrade 80 percent of its outmoded tractors and harvesters as well as a great number of auxiliary farm machines in state farms and land reclamation zones over the next five or six years.

This will cost about 600 million U.S. dollars, said Zhang Xiangyuan, a senior official of the Heilongjiang Provincial Administration of State Farms and Land Reclamation.
