English premier league soccer club Manchester United is to open a chain of cafes and stores in the Far East, according to the BBC here on Friday.

The first Theatre of Dreams outlet dedicated to this year's European football champions will open in Singapore next year.

It is the first move outside the Britain for what is already the world's richest club. A deal for the chain has been agreed with Singapore retailer FJ Benjamin Holdings.
