China is fully capable of protecting the interests of developers
of new plant species displayed at the China '99 Kunming
International
Horticultural Exposition, said Otto Koch, president of the
Association of International Horticultural Producers(AIPH).
"Breeders of new plant varieties should feel rest assured to
introduce their novel plants into China and to the ongoing garden
show here in Kunming," Koch said.
