Article: ECUADOR CLAIMS LOSS OF 14,121 SQUARE KILOMETERS OF TERRITORY

Ecuador claimed it lost legally a total of 14,121 square kilometers of land by the final demarcation of its border with Peru, according to a report by the Military Geographical Institute (IGM) published on Friday.

Ecuador's new territorial extension is 256,549 square kilometers, said the IGM report, which has been presented to the foreign ministry.
