- More details have emerged about the
recruitment and training of Rwandan ''Interahamwe'' militia and
defeated former Rwandan government soldiers (ex-FAR), the Rwanda News
Agency (RNA) claimed Wednesday.
"It is no secret that the Republic of Zimbabwe has been actively
training members of the ex-FAR and Interahamwe militia," Rwandan army
spokesman, Major Emmanuel Ndahiro, was quoted as telling the RNA
Wednesday.
The Rwandan army official's accusations followed declarations by
Rwandan Vice-President, Major General Paul Kagame, who accused
Zimbabwe of actively training the Hutu militia with the objective of
sending them to Congo (K).
