the influx of foreign players into English clubs was destroying
the game, said professional Footballers' Association chief executive
Gordon Taylor on Sunday.
Though England may win the bid to stage the 2006 World Cup there
might not be a host team good enough to distinguish itself, the boss
was quoted by a report as saying.
Taylor also said he was increasingly dismayed with the influx of
foreign players into English football, forcing more out of work and
affecting the chances of all the youngsters trying to break through.
