Chilean President Eduardo Frei returned to Santiago Thursday after ending his successful one-week European tour.

During his visit, Frei participated in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He also visited Spain.

The Chilean president said during the forum that the political and economic stability of Chile has attracted more foreign investments in the country. Frei assured the forum delegates that Chile can weather the financial crisis triggered by Southeast Asian countries.
