Article: Chinese Swimmers Urged to Do Best in Perth Worlds

The Chinese swimmers will do their best in the championships starting on Monday despite one has been suspended for violation of the delegation rules, a Chinese official said here on Sunday.

Shi Tianshu, head of the Chinese swimming delegation, told Xinhua that the Chinese swimmers were going to swim their best in the championships which run from January 12 to 18.

"Even though our training here has been interrupted by media interviews and drug testing, we will put up the best swims as we can and go for gold medals," he said.
