Article: Dinosaur Fossils Found in Southwest China's Sichuan

Some dinosaur fossils in Gongxian County in southwest China's Sichuan Province were recently discovered after they had been buried under ground for about 150 million years.

Archaeologists said that the newly found dinosaur fossils date back to the early Jurassic age, and most of them belong to sauropoda, a group of gigantic, plant-eating, four-footed dinosaurs with long necks and tails. Others include theropodas, flesh-eating dinosaurs that walked mainly on the hind legs.
