Article: Rwandan Government Hails Ex-Prime Minister's

The Rwandan government has hailed the guilty plea made at the United Nations Arusha Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) by Rwanda's former interim prime minister Jean Kambanda Friday morning.

"It is no surprise that Kambanda has pleaded guilty," Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anastase Gasana told the media.

Gasana pointed out that Kambanda, as a ring-leader, was aware of the enormous amount of evidence, made of videos, recorded speeches, as well as witnesses' accounts attesting his heavy involvement in genocide.
