The Security Council of the United Nations has agreed to lift the travel ban on Iraq, UN spokesman Juan Carlos Brandt said on Friday.

Carlos said the move came after the Security Council considered the recommendation by Richard Butler, Executive Chairman of the United Nations Special Commission (UNSCOM) in charge of dismantling Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.
