Article: Thailand's Leather Goods Exports to Increase

A weak baht and Thailand's growing reputation for quality have resulted in a banner year for exports of leather bags and travel accessories, according to The Thai Leather Goods Association.

Export value is expected to reach 20 billion baht (540 million U.S. dollars) this year, an increase of 67 percent over last year, Association President Sunanta Wuthisakul was quoted Saturday by the Bangkok Post as saying.
