Kenya and Ethiopia have pledged to take concrete steps to enhance
security and strengthen economic cooperation between the two
countries, Kenyan newspapers reported Thursday.
Kenyan President Daniel arap Moi and Ethiopian Prime Minister
Meles Zenawi reached the agreement on Wednesday in Addis Ababa
during Moi's visit to Ethiopia.
During his talks with Zenawi, Moi said that the security of Kenya
and Ethiopia should be viewed within the context of the Horn of
Africa, adding that the insecurity within the region would also
affect both countries.
