Article: Lebanon Submits Documents on Shebaa Farms to U.N.

Lebanese Prime Minister Salim Hoss on Friday submitted documents to the United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan in an attempt to prove Lebanon's claim over the controversial farms.

Lebanese National News Agency reported that the six documents, drawn from the archives of Lebanese Foreign Ministry and Syrian Foreign Ministry in 1946 and 1947, deals with Lebanon and Syria's joint exploitation of the fertile farms.

Shebaa Farms, seized by Israel from Lebanon in the 1967 Middle East war, are located on the Lebanese side of Mount Hermon.
