Syrian Foreign Minister Faruk Shareh said Israel should withdraw from Shebaa Farms in accordance with the U.N. Security Council Resolution 242.

After his meeting with U.N. Special Envoy to the Middle East Terje Roed Larsen here on Wednesday, Shareh told the Arab Syrian News Agency that Larsen raised the issue of Shebaa Farms, saying the disputed area does not belong to the authority of the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon (UNITIL).
