Article: Parliament Condemns Arrest of Turkish Cypriot Journalists NICOSIA, July 13

Cyprus House of Representatives President Spyros Kyprianou on Thursday protested against the arrest of Turkish Cypriot journalists by the breakaway Turkish Cypriot regime of the island.

Kyprianou made the protest in a letter to European Parliament President Nicole Fontaine, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Lord Russell Johnston and Secretary General of the International Federation of Journalists Aidan White.
