Most Zimbabweans Sunday expressed their welcome over the new
cabinet appointed by President Robert Mugabe on Saturday.
Mugabe announced a 19-member cabinet which saw 16 ministers being
left out. A number of respected personalities were appointed cabinet
ministers in the new line-up.
The new ministers came only from the ruling Zimbabwe African
National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) led by Mugabe.
In the parliamentary election on June 24 and 25, ZANU-PF got 62
seats with a narrow victory while the country's largest opposition
Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) won 57 seats.
Speaking on Sunday, MDC President Morgan Tsvangirai welcomed the
