Article: Mexican President Urges to Fight Poverty, Illiteracy

Poverty, illiteracy and poor law enforcement are national enemies that the Mexicans must defeat, Mexican President Vicente Fox said here on Tuesday.

"The Mexicans are entering the 21st century, with dream, hope and faith", said Fox at the opening ceremony of an exhibition on transformation in Poland.

Poland's former president Lech Walesa accompanied Fox at the ceremony. The exhibition, entitled "18 Days that Shook the World" was held at the Museum of Prints in the capital.
