Palestinian permanent observer to the United Nations Nasser Al-
Kidwa said here on Friday that the draft resolution proposed by the
four European members in the U.N. Security Council was unacceptable.
Speaking to the press, Al-Kidwa said the draft resolution,
sponsored by Britain, France, Norway and Ireland at the council
meeting on Thursday, did not call for a U.N. observer force in the
occupied Palestinians territories.
"The European proposal does not deal in a serious way with the
issue of protection and the establishment of a U.N. observer force,
" he said.
"There is no way we would be able to go along with it," Al- Kidwa
