Russian President Vladimir Putin will fly to Ukraine on Sunday
for a two-day visit, during which the two sides will sign a package
of "very important" pacts on bilateral ties, deputy head of the
Russian president's office Sergei Prikhodko announced Sunday.
The Russian president and his Ukrainian counterpart, Leonid
Kuchma, will discuss problems that they have not discussed in detail
before. The talks will be "very business-like and intensive," said
Prikhodko.
"The negotiations will concentrate on expansion and deepening of
cooperation with Ukraine in the aeronautical sphere, in the fields
of high technologies and the power industry," he said.
