Article: Thai Rak Thai Decides to Form Two-Party Coalition

The Thai Rak Thai party has decided to form a two-party coalition with the New Aspiration Party for the next Thai government, a Thai Rak Thai official told Xinhua Thursday afternoon.

The official, reluctant to be named, said his party has made the decision at the executive meeting earlier on Thursday.

The coalition will be the one that includes the least number of parties in the country's political history. In the past the Thai governments were usually formed by five or six parties, sometimes up to nine.
