Article: Israel Turns Former SLA Members Away From Shebaa Farms

Israeli troops refused to let four members of former Israeli- allied South Lebanon Army (SLA) into the disputed Shebaa Farms and turned them to the Lebanese security unit, the Lebanese official NNA news agency reported Wednesday.

The four SLA members, from southern Lebanese city of Hasbaya, crossed border fence and tried to enter into Shebaa Farms Tuesday night to seek political asylum, the NNA said.

Lebanese security unit has begun investigation into the incident, it added.
