Article: Court Junks Estrada's Motion to Quash Perjury Case

The Philippine anti-graft court junked Friday the motion to quash the perjury case filed by the lawyers of former President Joseph Estrada for lack of merit.

In junking the motion on the perjury case, the court said whether or not a government official will truthfully state his aggregate ill- gotten wealth in his annual statement of assets and liabilities is at best a question that begs a debate.
