Henrik Rud Pedersen, member of International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rules committee, saidon Sunday that the introduction of the table tennis in the Universiade is a breakthrough for both the table tennis sports andthe Universiade.

Henrik, at his third tour to China as an observer from the world table tennis authority, told Xinhua that "table tennis came into the Universiade is the first time in the history. If it couldnot hold in China, it could happen in nowhere of the world. It is a natural breakthrough. On behalf of table tennis, I am quite happy."
