The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees' (UNHCR) official said on Thursday that ensurance from the Pakistani government of not deporting newly arrived Afghan refugees was being sought by the UNHCR in an effort that those who have fled war and drought from within Afghanistan could receive due protection and assistance.
