MABTON - From the moment you walk in, you can tell there's a lot more than homework going on at Mabton's Community Learning Center.

And not just for kids.

The federally funded learning center - an after-school and evening program that offers tutoring, arts and crafts, and a host of other activities - is for parents and other grownups, too. The idea is to boost educational interest and community involvement by fostering academic and social skills.
