Selah Readies Survey on Library Internet

SELAH - The city of Selah is poised to approve and send out its own library survey as soon as next week. The survey will gather city resident's opinions on what to do about library Internet access.

"We're just finishing looking at a couple of drafts," said Frank Sweet, city supervisor. He said Mayor Bob Jones will make the final call this week on which one to send.

The brief survey will gauge the opinions of Selah residents on how to handle Internet access in the city's branch of the Yakima Valley Regional Library. Questions will include whether the computers should have software filters to limit access to sexually explicit Web sites, or even if the ...
