SEATTLE (AP) - A nearly week-old strike by Boeing Co. technical
workers has delayed some testing and production of the Air Force's
next-generation tactical fighter, Air Force Secretary F. Whitten
Peters said Monday.
Nine of the F-22 fighters are built or nearing completion, and
the strike has delayed a scheduled test for structural strength. Two
others are at earlier stages of assembly "and those may be tied up,"
