Correction: A Sunday story detailing the state Republican Party's
call for abolishing tribal governments erred by saying the measure
was part of the GOP's official platform. The measure was approved as
a resolution, which is essentially a suggestion or recommendation.
It differs from a platform measure, which carries greater weight and
serves as an official party goal.
