Correction: Due to a reporting error, the number of allegations
against former District Court Judge George Colby was incorrect in
stories prior to his resignation Nov. 30.
The 128 findings included as a basis to proceed with disciplinary
action against Colby referred to supporting documents and are not
charges.
The state Commission on Judicial Conduct based probable cause on
38 factual allegations, each of which represented the violation of
at least one canon of the Washington Code of Judicial Conduct.
In one instance, eight canon violations were linked to one
allegation.
