Robbers Hit Store for Second Time

UNION GAP - Police on Friday were continuing their investigation of the second armed robbery within a week of the same convenience store.

Police say two men in their late teens or early 20s entered the Airline Market at 1002 W. Washington Ave. at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday. One of the men carried a semi-automatic pistol.

The men demanded money from a clerk, then fled on foot, taking an undisclosed amount of money. They were last seen running behind the market. The store clerk was unharmed.
