Robbers Hit Store for Second Time
UNION GAP - Police on Friday were continuing their investigation
of the second armed robbery within a week of the same convenience
store.
Police say two men in their late teens or early 20s entered the
Airline Market at 1002 W. Washington Ave. at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
One of the men carried a semi-automatic pistol.
The men demanded money from a clerk, then fled on foot, taking an
undisclosed amount of money. They were last seen running behind the
market. The store clerk was unharmed. The first suspect is
described as an about 5-foot-10, slim white or Hispanic man. He was
wearing a light gray sweatshirt with the back torn out, a light-
