SEATTLE - Pacific Northwest baseball fans are excited about their new outdoor ballpark.

Ron Miller can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon with his family than at Safeco Field, the new $517 million home of the Seattle Mariners that opens July 15, complete with retractable roof for rainy days.

Even if it does cost more than $145 for him, his wife and their two children - including food, tickets and parking.

"I don't mind spending money to take my family to a real baseball stadium," Miller said as he entered the Kingdome for Tuesday night's game against the Anaheim Angels.
