A Yakima women's clinic has made "all the news that's fit to
print." The Feminist Women's Health Center, a nonprofit organization
that provides health services and operates A Woman's Choice Clinic
in Yakima, is listed as a resource on a New York Times Web site for
women's health.
Center development director Joan Schrammeck discovered it June 29
after following up on a friend's e-mail, which suggested she skim
the Times Web site for information.
"I wasn't necessarily sure I was going to go read the New York
Times article," Schrammeck said, "and when I did, I was like, "Oh,
