They sometimes get overlooked in busy election years that feature
a plethora of candidates and issues, yet District Court judges are
key components of any county's law and justice system. They hear
cases involving everything from driving infractions, including
driving while under the influence, to misdemeanor and gross
misdemeanor criminal charges and civil cases up to $35,000.
So when you can get proven, quality candidates in District Court
judicial races, it's a good idea to go with them. For that reason we
recommend the election of Ruth Reukauf for the Yakima County
District Court position being vacated by retiring Judge Randall
Marquis. She is opposed in the Nov. 3 general election by ...
